today woke up at 5plus, initially to wake up at 6.55am de. but well my neighbour is moving house. due to some chinese tradition, they have to cross the fire, and i presume the auspicious hour is such, at 5plus in the early morning, no should be dawn.
they kicked up a fuss, 4 conversations going on all at the same time.
finally woke up, to the toilet. then brushed teeth and get ready to set off. check for last minute items to bring. took a bus there, bus 109.
the moment i alight my bus, i saw regina and terrence. terrence said kenneath is at the changi point jetty. we set off for a light breakfast. waiting for more people to arrive.

9.30am at the jetty. checkpoint to pengerang. need passport. and with our bikes.
it was about 1 hour journey there. kenneath told me on the way the islands and other landmarks. we shared our knowledge. chat lor.
it was not a built-up island. developing on the way. the long-tailed macaques greeted us. immigration office. just a two man counter. nothing impressive.
then we made our way to the seafood restaurant for lunch. took us 1.5 hours. saw temples, mountains, birds. chit-chat with jinnie. quite fun actually. cycle along the road. then vehicles blasting their honks. it is not as if we did anything wrong, just the way it is of drivers there. they saw dead monitor lizard, a small one.
we had lunch, problem finding the place at first. after asking around, some chinese guy, we managed to reach there. the food was superb, nice and cheap. 6 dishes and about 12 bowls of rice, maybe more.. rm$270.
we went to a mango farm, the one next to the temple we seen on the road. bought some fresh mangoes and then 1 bottle of preserved mangoes. quite sweet though.
we contined to head back to the jetty. there we go again. saw dead monitor lizard, a big one, the internal organs just fell apart, seems fresh. more mountains, black cows, light brown cows, black-backed kingfisher. cool. earlier a blue-collared kingfisher.
when we are back to somewhere near the jetty, they took quite some shots while i ventured out into somewhere near the coast to collect some specimen or to observe wildlife there.
went back. passport registration a mess. need to queue for the trip back. lucky we booked the boat. haha.
home sweet home. i got a long-bang from camy's bf, jacky to bedok mrt. i took bus 25 back home.
yeah damn shack now. awaiting photos. very tired now, going to sleep soon.
